If you are a web designer or you're keen to work online in something like Pay per click management, you will doubtless be aware that the competition for jobs is fairly stiff. In order to ensure that your CV stands out from the rest, you will want to make sure it is very well put together.
To start with you will need to set your resume out so that the format is conducive to show casing your skill at their best. This will involve including sections dedicated both to work experience and to skills.
If you have a formal, web design qualification you will also, obviously want to include this on your document, however, if you are self taught, simply leave that information out. In the skills section of your resume, list the areas of web design in which you feel that you excel particularly.
Remember that on a CV you are not required to discuss anything at length: stick to short, concise bullet points, and refer the reader to your attached portfolio for more proof of your skills. Under the work experience section, you should follow the same set of procedures.
Keep the information short and to the point, and make sure that you include only salient, positive fact about yourself. Be sure to attach samples of your work and to include letters of reference where you can as well.
