Transfer a Domain to us

Transferring a domain to us is very easy

Transferring .co.uk via IPTAG change
For a .co.uk domain you submit a IPTAG request to your current registrar and ask the to update the IPTAG to 123-REG.
Please send us an email to confirm the change to admin@web-basics.co.uk
A TAG request should only take a few minutes to do - but it will take the Internet at least 24 hours to resolve to the new site.

Transferring a .com via registrar to registrar
For .com's its a bit more work - we will need to have recieved an email from the current admin contact confirming the domain has been unlocked and from the current valid email for the domain. Before we can request the registrar start a transfer. When the transfer is started the current admin contact will be sent a email confirming the request.

Note: all domains (with the exception of .uk domains) have a transfer fee of £15.00 +VAT and .coms add 1 year to the current term.
